Rep. Gobi Receives American Legion Award

BOSTON – State Representative Anne Gobi (D-Spencer) received the American Legion, Department of Massachusetts Legislator of the Year Award at their 90th Annual Convention. Rep. Gobi was presented the award by Department Commander Lee Plummer and Past-National Commander, John "Jake" Comer who said that Representative Gobi received the award for "her unwavering support for Veteran's rights, Veteran's benefits and Veteran's privileges, no Veteran ever had a truer friend". Rep. Gobi is a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 138 and the daughter of Reginald "Shike" Gobi a Navy Veteran of WWII, who was stationed in the Pacific and served in the Seabees.
